Meet Chelsea, the artist behind Vixen Ink

Tattoos have the power to transform, not just appearances, but confidence, identity, and healing. I’m Chelsea, the artist behind Vixen Ink, and my work goes beyond aesthetics. Whether through cosmetic enhancements or restorative tattooing, my goal is to help people feel at home in their bodies.

My journey into cosmetic and paramedical tattooing began years ago with a deep desire to do more than just beautify; I wanted to help people reclaim confidence, tell their stories, and feel at home in their bodies. It’s more than just tattooing, it’s the stories shared in my chair, the connections we build, and the resilience I witness in every client who sits in my chair. From breast cancer survivors to those who carry scars, both seen and unseen, it’s an honor to hold space for you, celebrate your journey, and help you rediscover the beauty within yourself.

In addition to my work as a tattoo artist, I’m also a Director of Special Education on the South Side of Chicago, where I’ve spent nearly 15 years advocating for individuals with disabilities and creating safe, inclusive spaces. This experience deeply influences how I approach tattooing — with care, respect, and a focus on empowerment. Whether it’s hyper-realistic areola restoration, scar camouflage, or gender-affirming tattoos, I’m committed to providing transformative results that go beyond skin deep.
