Hi, I’m Chelsea, the artist behind Vixen Ink. My work focuses on helping people feel confident and at home in their bodies through permanent makeup, restorative tattooing, and traditional tattooing.

My path into tattooing grew from a desire to do more than beautify. This work is about helping people reclaim confidence, honor their stories, and reconnect with themselves. From breast cancer survivors to those living with scars or insecurities, each session is approached with care, respect, and a commitment to creating a safe and supportive space.

In addition to tattooing, I serve as a Director of Special Education on the South Side of Chicago, where I’ve spent nearly fifteen years advocating for individuals with disabilities and building inclusive environments. My background shapes the way this work is approached, with empathy, patience, and a deep respect for each person’s journey.

Whether providing permanent makeup, hyper-realistic areola restoration, scar camouflage, gender-affirming tattoos, or custom body art, the goal remains the same: meaningful work that supports healing, confidence, and self-expression.

Training and Expertise

Choosing an artist is an important decision. Procedures such as permanent makeup and paramedical tattooing require advanced training, technical precision, and a strong understanding of skin, healing, and color theory to achieve safe, natural-looking results.

My journey in cosmetic and paramedical tattooing began in 2021, and since then I have trained extensively with leading artists, focusing on restorative tattooing techniques and advanced mentorship to refine skills in hyper-realistic areola tattooing, scar camouflage, and cosmetic tattooing. As an educator myself, I have a deep understanding of the importance of ongoing training and lifelong learning.
